INGREDIENTS :
tindora : 1/2 lb
green chillies : 10
coriander seeds : 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
seasme seeds : 1/2 tsp
almonds : 10
tamarind paste : 1 tsp
turmeric powder : a pinch
garlic : 4
salt : to taste
oil : 2 tsp
urad dal : 1/2 tsp
chana dal : 1/2 tsp
tomatoes(optional) : 2
METHOD :
Fry seasme seeds,cumin,coriander seeds in oil and grind them.
Add almonds while grinding and keep it a side.
Add oil in a pan,green chillies,chopped tindora and cook it for 15 min on low flame.
OPTIONAL :{Make tomato paste and let it cook separate until it forms like a thick gravy}
Grind the tindoora,add tamarind paste, and grounded powder with coriander seeds.
OPTIONAL : { ADD TOMATO PASTE TO IT FOR THICKNESS}
Add tadka to the tindora chutney.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
