SORAKAYA PULUSU(BOTTLE GOUR GRAVY)

INGREDIENTS      :
  sorakaya(bottle gourd)     : 1/2
  sweet potato  :1
  onion             : 1
  ginger garlic paste  :1/2 tsp
  tamarind paste         :1 tsp
 green chillies            :2
 cumin                        :1/2 tsp
 mustard seeds            : 1/2 tsp
 oil                               :2 tsp
 curry leaves                : a few
 coriander leaves         : a few
 red chilli powder        :1/2 tsp
 salt                               : to taste

METHOD  :

Take a pan add oil,cumin,mustard seeds,green chillies,onions fry for 2 min.
Now add peeled and chopped bottle gourd,sweet potato,ginger garlic paste to it,let it cook for 10 min by covering with a lid.
Add red chilli powder,salt to it.
Now mix the tamarind paste with some water in a bowl and add it to the curry and let it cook for 10 min.
Spread the coriander leaves on top of it.
Serve hot with rice and some dal.
